Special Assembly

The morning assembly conducted today at Genius International Public School was special one. The school students who came out with flying colours in the sports events were applauded by the school. Names of the students who were selected at the state level were specially recognized during the assembly. The students from the sports events like Taekwondo, Volleyball, Handball and Basketball were highly appreciated.

Ms. Poonam Dogra, Vice-Principal of GIPS appreciate the outstanding achievements of students and motivated them to perform inconsistently in future also.


Dictation Test

A dictation test was conducted in Genius International Public School, on 4th October 2017 to test the capability of the students.  This test was conducted in all classes from 1st to 12th. The students developed an insight to their abilities and were encouraged to perform even better next time. Ms. Poonam Dogra, Vice-Principal of GIPS appreciated the work of the students.

Special Assembly on Baisakhi

Keeping in touch with the tradition of celebrating all festivals with fervor and gaiety and introducing the children to their rich culture and heritage, a special assembly was conducted on Baisakhi by Genius International Public School on April 12, 2017. The Assembly was started with the Vice-Principal’s speech in which she gave the best wishes to the students and also explained the importance of this festival. She said that Baisakhi is not only a harvest festival but also a very auspicious day in the lives of the people of Punjab.  She told the students that on this day Guru Gobind Singh established the ‘Khalsa Panth’. She Said that for the farmers Baisakhi marks the time for harvest of rabi crops. The Students of GIPS also explained the importance of Baisakhi by delivering speeches.

Election Declaration


Vice – Principal Mrs. Poonam Dogra declared election in morning assembly by declaring various posts like Head Boy, Head Girl, Environmental Secretary etc. She also informed students from classes 6-12 to realize their responsibilities, leadership towards the school as well as themselves. She also said that our goal is to graduate students with good character, meaning with values of fairness honesty & trust ready to take responsibility for their actions & responsible behaviour in wider society & learning experiences in these domains.

National Innovative Talent Search Contest” (NITSC)

Our school had conducted online contest introduced by “National Innovative Talent Search Contest” (NITSC) taking mathematics as a pivotal subject. Many students participated under the supervision of Ms. Priya Vasudeva (H.O.D Mathematics) and Ms. Shivani (Mathematics Teacher). It would help the students to enhace their skills to compete the various entrance exams. Vice-Principal Ms. Poonam Dogra has encouraged students a lot.
